Lisa Y. Torres, M.A., CCC-SLP joined the Passy-Muir team in 1995, offering her extensive clinical experience and specialized interest in the pediatric population. Lisa quickly established herself as an effective and knowledgeable advocate of communication for tracheostomized and ventilator dependent patients. She had a strong desire to work in a position that would allow her to use her clinical knowledge to educate others on a large scale regarding the importance of communication for this patient population.

Passy-Muir also has a nationwide team of educational consultants who are independent clinicians in the fields of speech-language pathology, respiratory therapy and nursing. Each consultant has extensive experience specializing in tracheostomized and ventilator dependent patients and have utilized the Passy-Muir Valves in their clinical practice.
