Kate Coscarelli, the author of six published novels,
was involved in community affairs, worked with her
son and husband in producing major feature films and
was a newspaper editor. Kate's books have been Doubleday
and Literary Guild Book Selections, on the New York
Times Bestseller Lists and translated into over 25
languages. In 1993 Kate was diagnosed with ALS and
became full time ventilator dependent. Kate's last
three new novels were being dictated with the use
of the Passy-Muir Valve.
