15. Can I take my nebulized medications with my PMV™ in place?

The PMV should be removed prior to delivery of medicated nebulizer treatments. If the PMV is inadvertently used during a medicated nebulizer treatment, it should be removed immediately and washed according to the cleaning instructions in our instruction booklet in order to remove medication residue, as some medications may adversely affect the function of the PMV diaphragm.
