AAC and the SLP

Course Description:
This podcast was a conversation with Rachel Johnson, PhD, CCC-SLP discussed with us considerations for AAC and the role of the SLP in establishing communication for patients without a voice. Rachel addressed the acute care setting and research support. After completing this course, you will be able to:

1. Define the types of AAC.
2. Describe how AAC could be used in an acute care setting and other settings.
3. List considerations for the role of the SLP.
