Course Description: This podcast presents patient care from both sides of the table, discussing what it was like to be a speech-language pathologist (SLP) but end up on the “other side of the table” as a patient, then back to professional life. In this episode, part two, an SLP shares her experiences related to having a moderate-severe TBI, tracheostomy and speaking Valve, and a long, ongoing recovery. She shares her experiences as a patient and as a new SLP returning to the profession after injury.
