Communication: Psychological Impact
Course Description:
In this podcast, we spoke with Dr. Amy Freeman-Sanderson about patients in the ICU and the impact of voicelessness. We addressed how and why communication options should be a priority. During the discussion, she discussed patient selection considerations and assessment parameters, including use os speaking valves with patients on mechanical ventilation.
