Course Description:
This podcast was a conversation with Laura Brooks, MEd, CCC-SLP, BCS-S and Walter Reeder, BS, RRT about special considerations for working with the pediatric population with tracheostomies and mechanical ventilation. They addressed the steps to assessment for speaking Valve use and the research support for use in infants and toddlers. After completing this course, you will be able to:
